The WFPMA is a global network of professionals in people management, founded in 1976 to aid the development and improve the effectiveness of professional people management all over the world. Its members are predominantly the regional federations which are made up of more than 90 national human resource associations representing over 550,000 people management professionals.

1. Create Networking Opportunities that help our members build valuable connections and create a web of thought partners to exchange ideas and experiences.
2. Provide Research and Insights through curating and sharing research conducted by WFPMA members, associates and partners on People Management issues that provide members with valuable insights and best practices.
3. Develop Outreach to create partnerships and extend membership with a focus on advancing WFPMA’s mission and increasing awareness of professional people management.
4. Create value for member organizations, thereby improving the quality and effectiveness of professional people management which contributes to organizational success.
