WFPMA President on the Launch of the Creating People Advantage Study in partnership with Boston Consulting Group (BCG)

Dear colleagues,

Wishing you a Happy New Year. I’m sure we are all pleased to welcome in the new year and leave behind us a very challenging year. We have real hope with the launch of vaccination programs, and I am optimistic we will see progress against the virus. However, the next few months will continue to be challenging as the pandemic continues to dominate the globe, and this coming year will continue to be a time for us to be at the heart of dealing with the pandemic for our organizations and our people.

The pandemic has acted as a catalyst and accelerated change and we want to continue to push the critical agendas that should be at the center of all our thinking—inclusion and diversity, wellbeing, mental health and employee relations, skills and learning, as well as reward and recognition. We also need to keep a focus on our continuing development as a profession, and I am excited we announce our partnership with BCG to carry out the Global Creating People Advantage Study 2021.

BCG is a global management consulting firm and leading in advising on business strategy as well as an acknowledged leader in human capital strategy consulting. The firm is one of the world's three largest strategy consulting firms by revenue—we are confident that this will be a successful partnership.

This study is the largest and longest-running global HR study, and it aims to assess the topics that are most urgent in terms of improving HR departments’ capabilities around the globe. It provides in-depth perspectives as well as best practices for key HR topics to enable HR leaders to drive future business success.

We ask that you support this effort by completing the online survey here: Creating People Advantage 2021 Survey, which should take no more than 20 minutes to complete and will be open until the end of February 2021.

By supporting the study campaign, you will have the following exclusive opportunities:

  • Participation in webinars for discussion of key findings
  • Access to the information package including regional findings
  • Support for national presentations by BCG, WFPMA, or a regional organization

Please take a look at the Briefing Deck and Flyer for more information.

Best wishes for a safe, healthy and successful 2021!
